Friday 19 October 2012--The day after a session night is often a fuzzy one, and so it is today. I hang around the B&B all morning and into the
afternoon, playing with photos and catching up on online business. I think I've got the hang of this slowing down thing.
At about 2:00, I get in the car and head for the Skye Bridge, without any clear idea of where I'm going. At Broadford, I turn onto the B8083, a
long, winding spur road that ends at Elgol. It's been a long time since I went this way, and I'd forgotten how scenic it is, with views first of the Red
Hills (or Red Cuillin), and then the spectacular Black Cuillin, probably the most rugged mountains in Scotland. Stop in at the little shop in Elgol, take
a few photos, and head back to Plockton. Not much of a day out, but I have an idea for tomorrow.
I'm lucky to get a table for dinner in the bar at the Inn on a Friday night. It's Quiz Night, so I make my getaway and retire early.
