Wednesday 22 October 2014--We weren't too bad last night, but nevertheless today is a fairly muted one, matching the overcast sky. Get out a bit late and go have a look around the Museum. Ron and I agree to meet at 3:00 and go our separate ways for a while. I go shopping at Coda, the folk music record shop on the Mound, and at Cadenhead's. Mark is not in, and I watch Neil shove a succession of sample bottles up his left nostril.

Run into Ron on the Mile at 2:00, and we have lunch. Then we split again. I go shopping at Waterstones.

Saturday 22 October 2011--Drove to Port Askaig for the ferry--the brand new MV Finlaggan, nice vessel--and a rough crossing to Kennacraig. Rolling off, I absent-mindendly wished for a bit of rain to rinse the salt off the car. Well, I didn't wish for it sideways, all day long, but that's what I got.

Ron manages to find me at the Oxford Bar, despite the terrible directions I gave him. We return to the B&B, and Ron calls it a day. I head over to the Stockbridge Tap to have a pint with my man Adam. I'm done fairly early myself.
