Wednesday 10 October 2018--Did some more driving around. Saw some churches in the countryside, a medieval chapel in the woods, and a couple of ferry terminals for the outer islands. I'm sorry I didn't have time to travel to any of these, to some of the more remote villages and such. I walked a mile through a nature reserve to the southern tip of the main island, where I watched a FinnLines ferry pass by from west to east, and a Viking Line ferry going in the opposite direction. Those are two of five lines that stop in at Åland, part of the reason, I guess, it doesn't feel very remote.
