Thursday 25 October 2018--The weather continues to be dismal. We visited the Museum of Islay Life, a short walk from our flat, this morning, and this afternoon toured the Bruichladdich distillery, a couple of miles up the road. I was curious to see how much the sale to Remy-Cointreau affected the atmosphere at what has been the most fun distillery to visit in Islay. A fair bit, I guess, but not as bad as I'd feared.
