Monday 2 October 2023---We could make it all the way home today, but I don't want to drive that long. We're just going to Magog, twenty miles north of the border, instead. We go via the city of Trois-Rivières, on the north shore of the St Lawrence, where we have lunch at the microbrasserie Gambrinus.

In Magog, we have pints in both of the town's brewpubs, La Memphré and Des Cantons, with dinner at the latter, on the terrasse looking over the Magog River.

We'll cross the border tomorrow morning and be back to Ron's house reasonably early in the day. It's been a good trip, mostly to places I've seen before but was happy to see again. There will be new places soon, in just a few weeks.
