16 October 2015--A column of fog creeps down Glen Shiel on an otherwise clear sunny day. I'm on my way from Plockton to Edinburgh today. It's normal in Scotland for Glen Whatever to drain into Loch Whatever, but for some reason, Glen Shiel drains into Loch Duich, while, in another part of the country, Glen Finnan drains into Loch Shiel. Glen Shiel is not as consistently spectacular as the more famous Glen Coe, but it has its moments.
