Thursday 4 October 2012--Win wants to get away. He'd signed on to go to the Magdalen Islands with me, but had to back out. My UK itinerary was
well set before he started asking about joining me, and all I could offer him was the first four nights, two in Seahouses and two in Edinburgh.
The cost/benefit ratio didn't seem very attractive to me, but we all have our own ideas about that. If it makes sense to him, I can't argue. If nothing
else, I at least get a ride to the airport out of it. We leave Boston under darkening skies.
