Tuesday 29 October 2013--Pascal and Nezha are off to Glasgow today,
and it's obvious that they don't really want to leave. Can't say I blame them. It's
nearly midday before they shove off, and I head off around Loch Carron
toward Applecross. Stop first in Lochcarron for my usual stroll around the
Spar. Then up I go, into the mist. At the top of Bealach Na Bà, I stop and
peer out from under the blanket of cloud at the coast below. I can see sunshine
on a beach north of Applecross. It's tempting, but I haven't really allowed time.
Turn around and go back the way I came. Have a pint at the Lochcarron Hotel
before making my way back to Plockton.
