Friday 26 October 2018--After a week of gray skies, we were happy to get a blustery day, with lots more blue sky than this photo indicates. We took a walk on Islay's Big Strand, a five-mile long beach. Then we walked out onto the Oa, the rugged peninsula visible across the water here. From the American Monument (a memorial to two American shipwrecks during WWI), we could easily see Northern Ireland.
