Friday 6 September 2019--We visit Cap-des-Rosiers this morning to see a memorial to the victims of the sinking of the Carricks, an Irish immigrant ship that went down off the coast there. The locals managed to rescue a few, and a couple named Kavanagh settled, and are buried in the village's old cemetery. Then we take a walk to see the lighthouse at land's end in Forillon, before proceeding to Percé, where we will spend the next three nights.
