Wednesday 23 October 2019--We drive the B842 up the east coast of Kintyre (which might be Paul McCartney's long and winding road) to Claonaig, where we catch the ferry for the Isle of Arran. I've stayed in Arran twice before, quite a long time ago, once in Brodick and once in Lochranza. This time we're staying in Lamlash, and we're happy with the choice, not least because there are at least two good pubs for dinner and pints.
