Sunday 27 October 2019--Homeward bound. Ron's flight is Tuesday, so he's staying a couple nights in Glasgow. Across the Atlantic, I get some nice views of Labrador, Quebec's Côte-Nord, and the vast island of Anticosti, in the mouth of the St Lawrence River. It's a place I've thought about going to for many years, but likely never will, because, in all honesty, there isn't much of anything there. A photo of the Gaspé Peninsula would bring my trip full circle, but just as it's coming into view, a blanket of cloud overtakes it.
Later. Everything is different. I looked forward so long to retirement, when, I thought, I could plan my travels more freely.
