Friday 11 October 2019--Melville Square is in Edinburgh's West End; I pass through on my way to lunch at Teuchter's. This evening we attend a concert by Kate Rusby at the Assembly Rooms in George Street. Photography is not permitted, and my plan to grab a quick snap of the bowing band after the second encore is thwarted by the fact that there is no second encore, the sedate folkie audience having grown tired of clapping after the first one.
